VISION GIRLS ACADEMY TRIALS

2026/27 Season - next trial 25th of April

From the trial process, we aim to understand whether Vision is the right environment for each player.

For the 2026/27 season, trials are focused on identifying players who may be suitable to join the Academy next season.

The trial provides an initial opportunity to assess suitability and, where appropriate, determine next steps.

Who our trials are for

The Vision Girls Academy operates in a high-standard, performance-focused learning environment.

Trials are designed for players who:

  • Train regularly and are comfortable being challenged
  • Show strong learning habits and coachability
  • Are motivated, resilient, and open to feedback
  • May be just outside academy level but have clear potential to progress

We are less focused on physical maturity and more interested in how players think, adapt, and engage with the game in demanding situations.

What trials are — and aren’t

Trials are:

  • Development-focused and coach-led
  • Structured sessions delivered by Academy coaches
  • Used to understand learning behaviours, decision-making and adaptability

Trials are not:

  • A guaranteed entry route into the Academy
  • A ranking exercise or early selection based on physical development
  • The only factor in squad planning decisions

Our priority is to make the right long-term decisions for players, families, and the Academy environment.

Register your interest for trials

If you feel the Vision Girls Academy may be the right environment for your child, please complete the form below to register interest for the 2026/27 season.

Registration helps us understand the player’s background and plan the trial process.
Completing the form does not guarantee a trial place.

All registrations are reviewed by the coaching team, and we will communicate the next steps in due course. The next trial date is the 25th of April.

Please note: we are unable to advise on individual suitability before registration.
If you are unsure whether to apply, the decision to submit the form rests with parents and players. Trials are intended for players currently performing at a strong competitive level.
